If you’re a newly licensed CDL-A driver in the Philadelphia metro area and ready to start your trucking career the right way, this paid trainee program offers structured on-the-road training, experienced mentorship, and a direct path to a solo OTR driving position with consistent miles and dependable weekly pay.
This is a long-term career opportunity , not a quick-turn trainee seat.
Training Pay: $650 per week for 4–6 weeks
Solo Pay After Upgrade: $1,000–$1,400+ per week
Mileage Pay: $0.43–$0.51 CPM after training (experience based)
Stop Pay: $15 per stop once solo
Pay Schedule: Weekly direct deposit
Most trainees upgrade to solo quickly once all training benchmarks are met.

No-touch dry van freight
Mix of drop & hook and live load/unload
Nationwide freight lanes
This freight mix allows new drivers to focus on learning and safety without unnecessary complexity.
OTR Schedule: 12–14 days out with a 34-hour home reset
Operating Area: 48-state OTR after training
Home Base: Philadelphia, PA metro region
This is a true over-the-road role designed to build experience and consistency.
Valid CDL-A license (recent graduates encouraged)
Willing to run OTR for two consecutive weeks
Must live within 200 miles of Philadelphia, PA

Upon completion of the trainee phase, drivers are upgraded to solo OTR status with assigned equipment, consistent dispatch, and steady weekly miles. Most drivers see predictable pay shortly after upgrading.
