divh2Database Administrator/h2pMaximus is seeking a skilled Database Administrator to support vital systems in the defense of our Homeland. In this role, you will be involved in ensuring databases are properly managed, maintained, and optimized to meet business needs. This position is an onsite role, 5 days a week and requires a secret clearance./ppJob-Specific Essential Duties and Responsibilities:/pulliStrong knowledge and hands-on experience with Database Management Systems (DBMS) such as SQL-based systems and NoSQL databases/liliUnderstanding of database architecture, schemas, and normalization/liliFamiliarity with database specific programming languages (PL/SQL for Oracle, T-SQL for SQL Server)/liliAbility to design, implement, and maintain database structures (e.g., tables, indexes, triggers, stored procedures)/liliExperience in database backup strategies, disaster recovery planning, and execution/liliDevelop and maintain database backup and recovery strategies to ensure data availability and integrity/liliKnowledge of optimizing database performance by tuning queries, indexing, and managing database configurations/liliExperience using performance monitoring tools/liliAdminister and maintain multiple Server database environments, including installation, configuration, and patch management/liliCreate and maintain documentation related to database configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides/li/ulpJob-Specific Minimum Requirements:/pulli7+ years of work related experience required./liliA High School diploma or GED is required./liliActive Secret clearance is required./liliDue to federal requirements, only US Citizens can be considered.
