Location: San Clemente, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday (8am–5pm or 10am–7pm)
Some weekends & flexible hours required
Pay: $52,000 salary + additional overnight & holiday pay
Type: Direct Hire

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable, animal-loving Dog Walker & Personal Assistant to support a high-net-worth individual and care for several beloved dogs. This role is ideal for someone who is responsible, flexible, and genuinely enjoys working with animals in a private home setting.

Key Responsibilities

Daily dog walking, feeding, grooming, and playtime

Cleaning up after dogs and maintaining their care areas

Transporting dogs to veterinary appointments

Assisting with all animal-related needs as they arise

Providing overnight dog care as needed

Evening check-ins (around 9pm) to let dogs out (shared with another team member)

Overnight & Additional Pay

Overnight care at your home: $50 per night

Overnight care at the principal’s home: $100 per night

Evening check-in visits: $35 per visit

Double pay on holidays

Requirements

Proven experience caring for dogs

Comfortable working in a private residence

Flexible schedule and dependable

Background check and DMV check required

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred
