This position supports the daily operations of all Robinson Park fitness centers, including facility upkeep, member service, and delivery of personal training and group fitness programs. The role also includes using the Robinson Park “Wellness” platform for memberships, payments, and communications, and assuming essential duties when the supervisor is out of the office.  This is a part time position with the potential to move to full time.  Commission paid for personal training.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Facility Operations

    • Help maintain all fitness centers in clean, safe, and organized condition

       
    • Ensure equipment is functioning properly and report any issues

       
    • Stock and replenish towels and amenities as needed

       
  • Member Service & Front Desk

    • Greet members and guests in a professional, welcoming manner

       
    • Assist with facility tours and general questions

       
    • Staff the front desk during busy times and communicate daily gym needs and completed tasks to the supervisor

       
  • Personal Training & Programs

    • Provide 1-on-1 and small-group personal training sessions

       
    • Be punctual and prepared for all scheduled appointments

       
    • Communicate effectively with clients regarding scheduling and sessions

       
    • Assist with teaching group classes, bootcamps, and other wellness programs

       
  • Sales & Wellness Platform

    • Learn and use the Robinson Park “Wellness” system for memberships, personal training sales, events, and notifications

       
    • Contribute ideas for promoting memberships, personal training, and wellness events

       
  • Locker Rooms & Fitness Floors

    • Keep locker rooms clean, organized, and fully stocked with amenities

       
    • Ensure weights and accessories are returned to proper locations and that hand towels are stocked on the fitness floor

       

High school diploma or equivalent
Experience working directly with people in a customer service or client-facing role
National personal training certification (required)
1–2+ years of experience in the fitness industry preferred
Personal training and/or group fitness certifications preferred
Willingness to learn new tasks and responsibilities
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word

 

  • Physical Requirements
    • Move between fitness centers located within approximately ¼ mile  
    • Spend 4–6 hours per day on your feet  
    • Lift and carry 50 lbs or more as needed
