About the Role

As a Infant   Teacher at Merryhill School, you’ll be the heart of the classroom—guiding our youngest learners through some of their most important developmental milestones. • Encourage independence through gentle guidance, responsive caregiving, and purposeful play

  • Collaborate with fellow early childhood educators and school leadership to ensure consistency in care and developmentally appropriate practices

  • Communicate daily with parents through verbal updates, digital reports, and informal check-ins

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment aligned with licensing standards and school policies

What We’re Looking For

  • 12 semester (or 18 quarter) units in Early Childhood Education, including coursework in child development, curriculum, and family/community

  • Experience working with toddlers in a licensed child care setting preferred

  • Deep patience, nurturing instincts, and a genuine love for toddlers and early learning

  • Strong communication skills and an ability to connect with both children and families

  • Reliable, collaborative, and committed to high-quality care and education
