Laundry Attendant
Epworth Villa – Enhancing Lives so People Thrive.
Monday through Friday, 8AM to 4:30 PM
Do you enjoy helping others and take pride in keeping things fresh, clean, and welcoming? Join our Laundry Services team, where your work makes a real difference in the daily lives of our residents.
What You’ll DoAs part of our team, you’ll care for residents’ clothing, linens, and household items to ensure they’re always clean, comfortable, and ready to use. Every day brings variety, and your attention to detail will help our residents feel right at home.
Your responsibilities will include:
Washing, drying, folding, and delivering laundry items.
Sorting clothing and linens, treating stains, and preparing items for laundering.
Using professional and household ironing equipment to press garments and linens.
Keeping laundry rooms and equipment clean and in good working order.
Reporting any equipment issues promptly.
Organizing and delivering clean laundry to residents across Epworth Villa, Susanna Wesley Center, and Flora Deen Martin Center.
Issuing laundry bags and markers to new residents.
Sorting and counting articles to verify laundry lists.
