Our client, a manufacturing organization specializing in automated machinery, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Chesterfield, MO

Pay Range: $23/hour + based on experience

Shift: Monday - Friday, 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM

What's the Job?

• Maintain and repair automated machinery and equipment such as CNC Machining Centers, Mills, Lathes, and Grinders
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and troubleshoot machine tools and related shop equipment
• Install and repair electrical apparatus, servo systems, transformers, wiring, and electronic components of machinery
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical equipment throughout the facility
• Monitor oil levels, clean coolers, and drains in air compressors; coordinate with the Maintenance Manager for contractor services

What's Needed?

• Experience maintaining CNC equipment and other automated machinery
• Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
• Ability to perform preventative and unscheduled repairs efficiently
• Knowledge of electrical wiring, servo systems, and electronic components
• Ability to calculate supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance
