Responsibilities

• Direct and administer logistics management activities to ensure on?time delivery per customer needs, driving the team to serve customers with high energy and sensitivity.
• Advocate data?based decisions and uphold the highest standards of shipment quality.
• Work with Employee Health and Safety to implement and improve procedures that reduce job?related injury risk.
• Collaborate with Logistics and Quality to identify process?improvement opportunities and monitor continuous improvement outcomes.
• Work with Human Resources and union officials to resolve employee?relations issues, maintaining high morale and uninterrupted workflow.
• Ensure continuous development and training of employees on effective job skills, warehousing processes, and best practices.
• Continuously drive improvement of critical metricssafety, quality, delivery performance, inventory accuracy, and cost.
• Review activity reports, backlogs, delivery schedules, manpower, and financial statements to assess progress toward objectives and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership skills, strong interpersonal skills, and comfort with management, customers, and regulatory authorities.
• Computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with SAP, Power BI, and Warehouse Management Systems.
• Proficient leveraging modern business systems with above?average computer skills.
• BS in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of directly related experience in logistics, warehousing, and/or distribution operations.
