Sales Attorney for Criminal Defense Firm

About the Role

As a Sales/Intake Attorney, you will be the first point of contact for individuals facing criminal charges. You will speak with pre?qualified prospective clients, understand their legal situation, and demonstrate the value of Michael & Associates representation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily consultations with pre?qualified potential clients (approximately 20 per day), guiding them through the intake process to secure representation.
• Develop deep knowledge of criminal law and the firms approach, confidently answering questions and building trust.
• Show empathy and professionalism on every call, turning fear into confidence for crisis clients.
• Represent the firms values of zealous advocacy and premium client service, leaving every potential client confident in Michael & Associates.

Requirements

• Experience and passion for consultative phone sales; thrive in meaningful conversations and guiding clients toward legal solutions.
• Strong phone sales skills: friendly, empathetic, professional, and confident in legal knowledge.
• Appropriate license: an active California Bar license, or a clear plan to obtain one; or a 5+ year California?eligible Bar license from another state; or a reciprocal state license.
• Enjoy being on the phone and helping clients during stressful times.
