Senior Desktop Support Engineer | Financial Services Boston, MA (Hybrid) Z $120K + Bonus

A global investment firm is seeking a Desktop Engineer to join its Boston-based infrastructure team. This is a hands-on role supporting approximately 350 users across international offices, offering exposure to a wide range of technologies and direct engagement with business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide end-to-end technical support (Tier 1–3) across desktop, application, and infrastructure environments
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues; own service tickets through resolution
• Support and maintain Windows 11, Active Directory, SCCM, Citrix, and Azure environments
• Build and image laptops; contribute to automation and process improvement
• Participate in a light on-call rotation (1 in 5 weeks) with global support coverage

Candidate Profile:

• 4–5+ years of hands-on desktop support experience
• Strong communication and customer service skills; technical aptitude is important, but people skills are essential
• Experience in financial services or professional services environments preferred
• Familiarity with Microsoft technologies; scripting and cloud certifications are a plus
• Comfortable working an 8am–4pm shift, three days per week on-site in downtown Boston
