Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time or part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2025/2026 school year within a special education cooperative serving elementary students. This contract position is onsite and will support students in either Emporia, KS or Council Grove, KS, depending on candidate location preference.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide assessment, diagnosis, and individualized speech-language therapy for elementary school students.
• Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to students communication needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff to support student progress.
• Document therapy sessions and track student outcomes in accordance with local and state guidelines.
• Serve approximately 10-12 students one day per week, expanding to 50-55 students on a five-day schedule.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Kansas license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
• Experience working as an SLP in a school setting, ideally with elementary-age children.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate within the educational team.
• Ability to work onsite and provide flexible schedule arrangements if part-time.
