Web Designer
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 9:00AM-5:00PM EST.
Fully Remote (Must Reside in the U.S.)

Position summary
4 Corner Resources is seeking a Web Designer that focuses on designing, developing, and delivering high quality websites, standalone interactive experiences, and digital learning assets. The Web Designer will work on moderately complex to complex projects, applying strong front end development skills while maintaining clean, scalable, and maintainable code.


Key responsibilities

• Design and develop responsive websites, interactive content, and learning assets using modern front end technologies
• Build and maintain clean, reusable, and well documented code that aligns with established development standards
• Work with JSON files to support data driven functionality and integrations
• Use GIT repositories to manage source control, versioning, and collaboration
• Troubleshoot and resolve third tier support issues efficiently and thoroughly
• Collaborate closely with Graphic Designers, Product Managers, and Engineering teams to translate requirements into functional solutions
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices

Required technical skills

• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Solid understanding and practical use of JSON
• Experience working with GIT or similar version control systems
• Proficiency with a standard IDE such as WebStorm, Visual Studio, Sublime Text, Eclipse, Coda, Komodo, or comparable tools

Qualifications

• Intermediate professional experience in web development
• Strong understanding of web design principles, layout, and front end architecture
• Ability to manage multiple tasks across moderately complex to complex projects
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to follow standards while delivering reliable, maintainable code
