The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) provides independent anesthesia care in hospital operating and endoscopy rooms for a variety of general surgical and endoscopy procedures. The role involves working with a team of RNs and techs, managing anesthesia techniques including regional and spinal anesthesia, and using EPIC for documentation. Candidates must hold relevant certifications, an active medical license, and have experience in diverse patient demographics from pediatric to geriatric.

Coverage Needed:

• Start Date: March 1, 2026
• End Date: July 31, 2026
• Schedule: Day Shift, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Clinical Details:

• Practice Setting: Operating Room (OR) and Endoscopy (Endo) for Hospital
• Provide independent anesthesia care for general surgical and endoscopy procedures
• Documentation System/EMR: EPIC
• CRNA Supervision/Independence: Independent work with remote supervision by Anesthesiologist
• Average Number of Cases Per Day: 15
• Trauma Level/Designation: Level 4
• Annual ER Volume: 16,000
• Description of OR Staff: Rooms staffed per procedure with Registered Nurses (RNs) and techs
• Number of Operating Rooms: 2 Operating Rooms with 1 Endoscopy Room
• Patient Age Demographic: Pediatric to Geriatric
• Procedures Required:
  • General Surgical Cases (Adult and Pediatric)
  • Minor Nerve Blocks
  • IV Regional Anesthesia
  • Plexus Anesthesia
  • Spinal Anesthesia
  • Epidural Anesthesia
  • Regional Anesthesia
  • Ventilation Management
  • Local Infiltration

Requirements:

• Board Certified in AANA
• Active MI Medical License
• BLS, ACLS Certifications
• Local Provider Only
• Clean Malpractice & License History (Highly Preferred)
